Privacy Policy for Cleaner Kit AI
This Privacy Policy explains how JDG HRYSHYN ALIAKSEI, the publisher of Cleaner Kit AI ("we", "us", or "our"), processes information when you use the Cleaner Kit AI mobile application for iOS and the related website pages published for the app.
1. Summary
- Cleaner Kit AI mainly processes photos, videos, contacts, and private files you choose to organize in the app.
- We do not sell your personal data and we do not use cross-app tracking.
- We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to measure usage and app stability.
- Secret Library content is stored locally on your device; contact backups may be stored in your iCloud account or locally if iCloud is unavailable.
- If you deny a permission, the related feature may not work until you enable access again in iOS Settings.
2. Data We Process
The table below summarizes the main categories of data processed by Cleaner Kit AI.
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Where it is stored |
|---|---|---|---|
| Photos and videos | Images, screenshots, blurred photos, duplicate or similar media, and videos from your photo library | Find duplicates, similar items, screenshots, blurred images, large videos, and support deletion or review flows | Processed on-device; media remains in your photo library unless you delete or move it |
| Contacts | Names, phone numbers, email addresses, contact photos, and other contact details | Find incomplete or duplicate contacts, merge contacts, create and apply backups, and optionally import selected contacts into Secret Library | Processed on-device; backups may be saved in your iCloud account or locally on-device |
| Secret Library content | Photos, videos, documents, and contacts you import into Secret Library | Provide a private in-app storage area protected by your passcode and, if enabled, Face ID | Stored locally inside the app's private storage on your device |
| Camera and microphone input | Photos or videos captured from inside the app | Allow you to capture and save new content into Secret Library | Stored locally on your device after capture |
| App analytics data | Screen views, feature usage events, permission status, locale, counts, sizes, and simple feature state values | Understand product usage, improve feature quality, and measure app performance | Sent to Firebase Analytics (Google) |
| Crash diagnostics | Crash reports, app version, build number, bundle identifier, build configuration, and diagnostic logs | Detect, investigate, and fix crashes and reliability problems | Sent to Firebase Crashlytics (Google) |
| Security and settings data | Passcode state, biometric preference, backup preference, and other app settings | Remember your security and feature choices | Stored in iOS app storage; sensitive secrets are stored in iOS Keychain where applicable |
Photos and videos
If you grant photo library access, Cleaner Kit AI can inspect your media library to identify duplicate photos, similar photos, screenshots, blurred items, and videos. This analysis is performed locally on-device.
Contacts
If you grant contact access, Cleaner Kit AI can read your contacts to identify duplicates, show incomplete contact entries, merge contacts, create backups, restore backups, and import selected contacts into Secret Library.
Secret Library
Secret Library allows you to import photos, videos, documents, and contacts into a private area inside the app. This content is stored in the app's local private storage. If you enable Face ID, the app uses iOS biometric authentication to help protect access to Secret Library.
Analytics and crash data
Cleaner Kit AI uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. Analytics may include low-cardinality usage data such as screens opened, feature actions, permission statuses, counters, and size-related values. Crashlytics receives crash and diagnostic information needed to maintain the app.
Cleaner Kit AI is designed not to send file names, local file URLs, contact names, contact phone numbers, contact email addresses, passcodes, or other direct content data to analytics.
3. Sources of Personal Data
We obtain personal data from the following sources:
- directly from your device and your actions in the app, such as when you grant permissions or use a feature;
- from iOS system frameworks, such as Photos, Contacts, Camera, Microphone, Face ID, Keychain, and iCloud, when you choose to use those features;
- from Firebase services, which receive analytics and crash-related data from the app;
- from imported files, contacts, photos, or videos that you select for processing or storage in the app.
4. How We Use Data
We use information for the following purposes:
- To provide the core Cleaner Kit AI functionality you request.
- To scan and organize your media and contacts on your device.
- To create contact backups and restore them when you choose to do so.
- To protect Secret Library with passcode and biometric access controls.
- To improve usability, measure feature adoption, and fix crashes.
- To maintain app security, detect malfunctions, and troubleshoot issues.
Legal bases
Where applicable under privacy laws such as the GDPR, we generally rely on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to provide requested app features such as cleaning, backups, and Secret Library.
- Consent: for access to photos, contacts, camera, microphone, and biometrics, where the operating system requires your permission.
- Legitimate interests: to understand app usage, improve reliability, and prevent abuse, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligations: where retention or disclosure is required by applicable law.
6. Retention
- Photos, videos, contacts, documents, and Secret Library items remain on your device or in your iCloud account until you delete them or remove the app, subject to iOS behavior.
- Contact backups remain available until you delete them from the app or your iCloud storage.
- App settings remain stored until you reset them, remove the app, or clear the relevant local data.
- Analytics and crash data are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for product analytics and stability, subject to Google Firebase retention settings and applicable law.
7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:
- accessing the personal data we hold about you;
- requesting correction or deletion;
- requesting restriction of processing;
- objecting to certain processing;
- requesting data portability; and
- withdrawing consent for permissions you granted on your device.
Because much of Cleaner Kit AI's functionality is local-first, you can often exercise control directly by deleting content from the app, revoking iOS permissions, deleting iCloud backups, or uninstalling the app.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your place of residence or, where applicable, with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
How to manage permissions

- Contacts: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Contacts.
- Camera: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera.
- Microphone: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
- Face ID: iOS Settings > Face ID & Passcode or the app-specific settings screen.
California notice
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, access, delete, and correct certain personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights. Cleaner Kit AI does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. International Transfers
Service providers such as Google may process information on servers located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards under applicable law for such international transfers, including where relevant the European Commission's adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses and related supplementary measures made available by our service providers.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. The app uses iOS security mechanisms, app sandboxing, local private storage, and Keychain storage for sensitive secrets such as tokens where applicable. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. Children's Privacy
Cleaner Kit AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review the issue.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date above.
